Your loan-book data stays on your device.
Files are processed entirely in your browser.
Your accounts and payments files are not uploaded to a server. PortfolioLens has no user accounts and does not store your portfolio. Closing the tab or using Clear data removes the loaded portfolio from memory.
What stays on this device
Only interface preferences are saved locally: your currency label, flagged-payment toggle preference and remembered column mappings. They help the next file load feel familiar and do not contain your loan-book rows.
What leaves this device
Nothing from the files you select. All parsing, validation, calculations, charts, findings and report preparation happen in the browser.
Shared devices
Use Clear data before handing a shared device to someone else, then close the browser tab.
